Curriculum and stats

Standard Assessment Tasks (SATs) are no longer used. Schools can opt to take part in KS2 Sats style assessments which are marked in school. Children in Reception will be assessed using the Baseline Assessment during the first half term of the school year in which they have their 5th birthday.  This assesses language, communication, development and learning and will be discussed with parents at their first Parents Evening.  Other assessments take place to monitor the child’s development throughout both Key Stages.
